Essenza by MD ™ Is All About Revealing…the Essence of You!

Essenza: pronounced [é-sen-tza] is Italian for “essence”, from the Latin word essentia, meaning “essence” or “being”, which in turn it is based on the Latin root esse, meaning “to be”.

Our name tells our story: we are here to help you be – the most beautiful, confident and radiant version of yourself. To be the essence of who you really are at your core, when you take away the signs of aging, the passage of time, the marks life leaves on each and every one of us, on our faces and our bodies. And we do it all under the experienced guidance of a qualified physician.

At Essenza by MD, we believe that there is no template to beauty, that everyone deserves to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin and we are committed to providing our clients with the safest, most effective, minimally-invasive aesthetic treatments to achieve their desired results. Our Medical Director

Daria Geldman, MD is a Board-Certified, Internal Medicine physician and aesthetics provider who is the owner and medical director of Essenza by MD ™. Dr. Geldman grew up in Queens, NY but crossed the Hudson River for her training at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School (UMDNJ) and eventually settled in New Jersey. She has been in practice for six years and her focus is on preventative and lifestyle medicine. Dr. Geldman is passionate about helping clients look and feel their best.

Dr. Geldman personally performs the bulk of our aesthetics procedures and conducts all follow-up appointments. She believes that aesthetics procedures are true medical procedures that should, ideally, be performed by a physician or well-trained medical provider with adequate knowledge of human anatomy and experience in dealing with potential complications or side effects. Dr. Geldman is trained in all aspects of general medicine, including emergency and ICU care, but chose to focus on primary and preventive care. She also has extensive aesthetic training in botulinum injections (Botox®, Xeomin®, Dysport ®), dermal fillers (Juvederm®, Restylane ®), Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections and skincare including microneedling (RejuvaPen®) and chemical peels.

Thanks to her experience as a primary care physician, Dr. Geldman is well versed in the management of chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension or hormonal dysregulation. She is knowledgeable about skin manifestations associated with some of these conditions, current therapeutic guidelines and possible drug interactions. By applying this expertise, she is able to offer aesthetic and skincare services to our clients in the safest and most effective manner.
